W. Miller Welborn has 25 years of experience in the transportation industry. He served as the president of Welborn Transport and Boyd Bros. Transportation. Most recently, he has been the president of Welborn and Associates, a transportation consulting firm which specializes in truckload operations and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Welborn attended the University of Alabama and has served on the Board of Directors of the Alabama Trucking Association and the Truckload Carriers Association. He also serves on The Federal Reserve Board of Atlanta, Birmingham Branch, as well as on the boards of Southeast Logistics, Inc., Dixie Midwest Express, Inc., and Big Oak Ranch, a Christian children's home in Gadsden, AL.
